Biography of Karen Clarke

Born August 21, 1962 in Washington D.C. I was raised by my mother, grandmother, and aunt in the Baptist Church.  My mother was a strong single parent who raised 2 children.

In 1975, I was introduced to the Nation of Islam by my older  brother.  I later studied with the Nation for about 6 months.

In 1976 I read The Mucusless Diet Healing System by Professor Arnold Ehret.  This book inspired me so much that I read all his books and continued to study other  books on natural healing and alternative medicine to this present day.

In 1977 I read Autobiography of a Ygi by Paramahansa Yogananda.  This book inspired me so much spiritually that I joined Self-Realization Fellowship and studied with this fellowship for 2 years.  The study and practice of Yoga stayed with me, and in 1979, I joined 3HO, (Healthy, Happy, Holy Organization).  This organization practiced a daily routine of Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and vegetarianism.  I was prevented from communing with this organization by my mother for fear of brainwashing.

In 1989, I read the book In My Soul I am Free by Brad Steiger and was inspired to study the religion of the Light and Sound of God called Eckankar.  I studied Eckankar from 1980 until 1995.

I also graduated from High School in 1980 and decided to continue to college.  I started a working career in food preparation from 1979 until 1985, when I left the food preparation business to pursue my present career with the U.S. Postal Service.

In 1996, I re-read The Essene Gospel of Peace by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely.  I later became a member of the International Biogenic Society.  This is a live/raw food society dedicated to studying the Brotherhood of the Essene which teaches the spiritual/health practices of Jesus, Moses, Enoch, and other prophets.

In 1997, I was given the book The Meter Neter by Ra Un Nefer Amen.  This book inspired me to learn ancient Afrikan culture/religion.

I am presently continuing in my study of ancient Afrikan culture/religion and the study of the Brotherhood of the Essene.  I maintain a raw/live food lifestyle and plan to spread the word about live/raw food preparation, health benefits, and spirituality.

I received my wholistic health training at the Advanced Medical Services Institute/Clinic in Washington D.C. I am a certified Colon-Hydrotherapist, Iridoligist, (analysis of body organs thru the reading of the iris), Bio-Ionic Chemistry Technician, (analysis of urine and saliva to determine chemical balance or imbalance).  My certification also includes the study of human digestion.

I received my training in the culinary arts thru the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute.  This institute is based in California.  I am certified as: Associate Chef/Instructor of Live Food Preparation.

I am currently continuing my clinical training.  Upon completion, I plan to open a Live/Raw Food Café, and Health Facility.

I now give private and public lectures and Live Food demonstrations accompanied with a cleansing program if requested.
